31 January 2026 marked a historic milestone as the GGC Esports Hall of Fame – eSoccer Edition reached its thrilling conclusion, with semi-final and final matches delivering excitement, drama, and top-level competition.

The semi-final stage was played over two legs (home and away), testing consistency, adaptability, and mental strength.

In the first semi-final, Pounds faced Benny. Pounds edged the first leg with a narrow 1–0 victory before sealing qualification emphatically in the second leg with a 4–2 win, progressing to the final on aggregate.

The second semi-final saw a dramatic turnaround between Stanley and Sylar. Sylar dominated the first leg with a 3–1 win, putting Stanley under pressure heading into the return fixture. However, Stanley produced a remarkable performance in the second leg, overturning the deficit with a commanding 8–2 victory to secure his place in the final.

The grand final saw Stanley face Pounds in a highly anticipated showdown. Displaying composure, tactical intelligence, and attacking brilliance, Stanley emerged victorious to claim the title and etch his name into history as the first-ever champion of the GGC Esports Hall of Fame eSoccer Edition.

The occasion was further honoured by the presence of Igor Boumekpo, President of the Ghana Esports Federation, who graced the event and officially presented the trophy and awards to the champion, adding prestige and significance to the historic finale.

This maiden edition showcased not only competitive excellence but also the growth and potential of esports within the community. With strong participation, professionalism, and passionate support, the event set a solid foundation for future editions of the GGC Esports Hall of Fame.

As the curtain closes on this historic chapter, one name stands above all—Stanley, the inaugural champion.
